Instead, as previously mentioned, I&#8217;ve gone for something a bit more modern (and simple to do). I designed a pattern of holes using coins while sat in front of the TV&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.isomorph.co.uk\/guitarBuild\/images\/guitar4\/75-holdTemplate.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To ensure I got the pattern I wanted, I quickly made a template in MDF. The small holes are a 16mm spade bit and the larger holes a 25mm forstner bit. The hole is drilled at this stage to allow for the back of it to be supported (reducing the chances of splitting the back).
