The frets have been trimmed, levelled (needed quite a bit due to my dodgy first attempt at fretting), re-crowned and polished. <\/p>\n<p>I then finished the neck in Tru-Oil, with a wax top layer for the back of the neck. One of the tuner locating screws broke off when fitting, hopefully it won&#8217;t be a problem&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>The neck heel is a bit smaller than a &#8220;standard&#8221; Fender neck (I wanted to really narrow neck compared to the one I used before), so there is now a fair gap on the low side of the neck pocket.
