I turned this into a technical drawing exercise, hence all the lines and marks! Not owning a band saw, all templates where made with a router, using some straight pieces of scrap wood as guides. I&#8217;m not using a template bit in the router (I don&#8217;t own one mainly), so the template is oversized and I&#8217;m using a guide ring that came with the router.<\/p>\n<p>The router I bought was the Trend T4 for cutting all the body holes and shaping the headstock. I went for something light and easier to work with. It takes a few more passes to cut, but that isn&#8217;t a bad thing.
